Body Type A vs Body Type B — outfit fit
Character customisation in Settings → Charlie has two body types. They are cosmetic only — hitbox volume and input frames are identical. Outfits are tailored per body type and the menu shows a live fit preview.

How many cosmetics are there in Dead as Disco?
In the v0.1.x Early Access build there are 33 tracked cosmetics: 12 outfits / skins, 8 mic skins, 3 dance moves, 3 emotes, 4 graffiti tag slots and 3 lapel pins. Brain Jar adds 2–4 more per major patch.
How do I get all Dead as Disco skins?
Skins (the in-game tab is labelled “Outfits / Skins”) drop from Idol clears, side quests, the Encore memorabilia gate (12 items → Charlie Drumkit) and Hard-Mode S-ranks. The full list with sources is in the table above. Hard versions of Punk Leather and Speed Leather are the only re-skinned variants in the EA build.

Does Body Type B look different in cosmetics?
Yes — every outfit has a per-body-type cut. Body Type A wears looser silhouettes (longer lapels, A-line dresses); Body Type B wears tighter cuts (shorter lapels, bodycon). The in-game preview shows the fit before you confirm. Hitbox volume and input frames are identical.
Can I switch body type after starting a save?
Yes. Settings → Charlie → Body Type. All cosmetics auto-refit.
Are there missable cosmetics?
Holo Jumpsuit (Arora Quest — needs Mini Paradise Blossom in Ch.1) and the Hard Punk Leather variant (Hemlock S-rank on Hard) are the only ones that require chapter-specific revisits. Chapter Select makes them recoverable.
Where is the Charlie Drumkit outfit?
The Encore wall — collect 12 memorabilia items, then talk to Charlie’s bandmate to receive the Drumkit outfit.
