FAQ

What is the Spray Paint Can in Dead as Disco?

The Spray Paint Can is a quest item picked up in Hemlock Underground (Ch.2). It tags the Encore hub’s graffiti wall, opening up to six customisable slots that visually represent your progress against each Idol.

Where do I find Spray Paint in Dead as Disco?

The default pink can is auto-picked up in the Hemlock Underground corridor. Cyan drops from the third fan in the same level, Gold from the Ch.7 rooftop Suit miniboss, Black-out is unlocked by the Open Mic challenge (25 Free Play songs), and UV/Reactive is a Hard-only Ch.4 chest re-roll.

How do I tag the Encore wall?

With a Spray Paint Can in inventory, walk up to the Encore graffiti wall and press Heavy. The slot menu opens — pick one of the six Idol-themed slots and choose a tag from your unlocked design library.

Does spray paint unlock cosmetics?

Yes. Filling all six wall slots awards the Reunion plaque overlay. Each Idol-tied slot also drops a small cosmetic — a lapel pin, charm or emote variant.

Can I remove or change tags?

Yes. Use the Black-out can to clear any slot. Black-out does not reset your unlock progress; it only hides the visual.
