What is the Dead as Disco road map?
A four-stage Early Access plan from Brain Jar Games: launch (May 2026), Q3 2026 (new Idol + co-op trial), Q4 2026 (story chapter expansion + accessibility tools), and 1.0 in ~2027 (final Idol, online co-op, balance pass).
When does Dead as Disco leave Early Access?
Brain Jar has stated 1.0 is targeted for ~2027 — roughly a year of Early Access from the May 2026 launch. Exact date is not committed; the road map above is updated after every patch.
Will my Early Access progress carry to 1.0?
Yes. All cosmetics, Idol clears, Encore upgrades and memorabilia persist. Some accessory balance values may change between EA and 1.0 but progression is permanent.
Will Dead as Disco have co-op?
Yes — a duo co-op trial is on the Q3 2026 road map, with full online co-op targeted for 1.0. Leaderboards (friend + global) are already live in Infinite Disco.
Will Dead as Disco get a Steam Deck Verified rating?
Yes — Verified is a stated Q3 2026 target. The current EA build is Playable on Steam Deck. See /steam-deck/ for recommended settings.
